Contoh hitung: C-Market 274.90¢ + Diff 20¢ = 294.90¢/lb → (294.90 ÷ 100) ÷ 0.4536 = $6.50/kg → × kurs 17.836 ≈ Rp116.000/kg.
Specialty Grade = C-Market + premium berdasarkan skor cupping (Q-Grade).
World is the international benchmark price (C-Market) converted to IDR per kg — the New York “board” price, not the farm-gate price in Indonesia.
+Diff (Differential) is the premium (or discount, if negative) over the benchmark, reflecting quality and origin. +20¢ means this coffee trades 20 cents above the C-Market.
Diff is highly condition-dependent — there is no fixed number. You can edit it in the Calculator; adjust Diff to your processing conditions: method (washed, natural, wet-hull, honey), cupping score, defect & moisture, origin, lot size, certification, and buyer relationship. Rough guide: commercial robusta +$0.15–0.30, regional arabica +$0.50–1.20, specialty 86+ +$1.50–2.50 — and it can go negative for low grades or large undifferentiated lots.
Worked example: C-Market 274.90¢ + Diff 20¢ = 294.90¢/lb → (294.90 ÷ 100) ÷ 0.4536 = $6.50/kg → × rate 17,836 ≈ IDR 116,000/kg. That is the figure shown in the widget’s “+Diff” tile.
Cherry is a mathematical estimate of the farm-gate price in cherry/parchment form, using a conversion ratio (5:1 = ±5 kg cherry per 1 kg green bean). It is not the real farm price — actual prices are set by local markets, moisture content, and negotiation.
Specialty Grade = C-Market + premium by cupping score (Q-Grade).
All figures are benchmarks for judging whether a price is fair (over/under-value) — not a substitute for an official quotation.
